The Coach is Back!

Life sometimes hands us challenges. The way we handle these challenges may continue to affect us for a long time to come.

I always encourage my business contacts, my students and everyone who attends any meetings where I speak, to take some time to decide how best to handle the things that life throws at us.

Being self-employed, owning my own business, has afforded me not only the benefit of being able to take time to give careful consideration as to how I should handle the events that have entered my life in the past few months, but also the time to put my decisions into action.

Sometimes we are lucky enough to have employers who understand, and are willing to give time off to take care of situations that crop up. But most people tell me that they would have to choose between their jobs and the drama or chaos that life had dealt them.

I am grateful to have the option of which days to work, which work to accept, and having the peace of mind that it simply did not matter whether I was working at 6:00 a.m., 3:00 in the afternoon, or in the middle of the night. This is definitely a benefit of being my own boss.

However, I have communicating with other small business owners while I dealt with the drama going on in my own life.  I have missed being able to answer questions, or make suggestions that might help a fledgling entrepreneur get his or her business off the ground. So I am grateful to be back.

I am working to get my training programs up and running again. I have big plans for National Shoestring Business Week coming up the week of September 13-19. I am developing new telesminars and new digital products, and I am anxious to tell you all about them.

So, take note. The Coach is back!

I hope you are enjoying your summer.
